Alfred founded A.S. Fricano & Co. CPAs in 1971, after graduating from Youngstown State University in 1964 with a major in accounting and a minor in economics. In 2011, he reduced his role in the firm, but remains active in what is now Byler, Wolfe, Lutsch & Kampfer CPAs, Inc.

PRACTICE AREAS

In addition to tax preparation and tax compliance, for individuals, businesses, corporation and trusts, Alfred focuses on complex tax law, tax consulting, gift and estate planning, business valuations, and consults on business sales and purchases transitioning, and litigation support.

Dan originally joined the practice in 1973 while completing his college career. He left the practice in 1988 to take a position as VP and CFO in manufacturing. He returned to the practice in 2010 when the firm was renamed Byler, Wolfe, Lutsch and Kampfer, Inc. Dan graduated from Robert Morris University in 1978 and became a CPA in 1981.

PRACTICE AREAS

Dan works in the firm’s East Liverpool office. His specialty areas are taxation and business consultation. He also works as a consultant at the individual level in the area of financial planning.

Gene is responsible for the firm's taxation divison, overseeing the preparation procedures of the tax practice. He has direct and shared client responsibility for various types of businesses and individuals, as well as not-for-profit entities, providing accounting, tax and consulting services.

Gene’s accounting experience spans a broad range of services, and he specializes in working with agricultural clients. He holds a Certificate of Educational Achievement from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Tax Planning and Advising for Closely-Held Businesses.

Rick joined the firm in 1988 after obtaining his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Kent State University, and spending two years with a large regional firm. He was admitted as a principal in 1991.

PRACTICE AREAS

Rick is responsible for the firm's accounting and financial reporting practice, overseeing the preparation of compiled and reviewed financial statements. He has direct and shared client responsibility for various types of businesses and individuals, as well as not-for-profit entities, providing accounting, tax and consulting services.

Rick also heads up special client engagements known as "agreed upon procedures," which are tailored to meet the specific needs of certain clients.

Stacey started at BWLK in 2001 as a secretary and discovered an aptitude and interest in accounting. She is a graduate of the University of Mount Union in Alliance, Ohio.

PRACTICE AREAS

She is experienced in payroll preparation and compliance, individual and business tax return preparation, and accounting procedures. Stacey is also responsible for accounting and work paper completion, as well as various general office duties as needed.

COMMUNITY

Stacey resides in Alliance where she was born and raised.
